ATN MARS2X Night Vision Weapon Scope are the worlds largest line of professional Night Vision sights - has a new flagship - the ATN MARS 2. Inspired by ATN 's quest for technical perfection and named after the Roman God of War, the ATN MARS NV riflescopes represent the absolute latest in the world of Night Vision equipment. Similar to all ATN Aries scopes the ATN MARS features only the purest grades of heavy glass and computer-aided optical designs to create multi-element, high-speed, multi-coated lenses for ultra-fast light transmission and resolution beyond current military standards. All optical lenses on the MARS scopes are individually fitted and calibrated to achieve optimum performance.

ATN s Autogated / Filmless IIT s improve night operational effectiveness in dynamic lighting conditions such as those experienced, for example, in night operations in urban areas. The filmless micro channel plate provides a higher signal-to-noise ratio than standard Gen 3, resulting in better image quality under low-light conditions. An Autogated power supply further improves image resolution under high light conditions and a reduced halo effect that minimizes interference from bright light sources.

In ATN s continuing effort to supply our clients with cutting edge Night Vision solutions we are proud to introduce a new line of select units based on ATN White Phosphor Technology (WPT). Studies show that nighttime scenes appear remarkably more natural in black and white versus the usual green. B&W provides clearer information about contrast, shapes and shadows. ATNs White Phosphor Technology provides users with this natural B&W night vision image. The majority of the WPT performance characteristics are on par or better then the latest Gallium Arsenide based image intensifier tubes. WPT specifications include typical resolution of 68 lp/mm (with some over 74 lp/mm) and Signal-to-Noise figures as high as 25. Operators that tested units that use ATN WPT reported a significantly better degree of detail, overall contrast, full moon similarity and range of shades. WPT provides more discriminating shades of intensity between white and black than between green and black resulting in better contrast and depth perception then when compared to green phosphor NVG 's. Units with 4th gen autogated/filmless IITs have a typical resolution of 64-72 lp/mm and a minimum signal to noise ratio of 24.
