The ASTELE™ 95 OTA (Optical Tube Assembly) is a versatile astronomical telescope, spotting scope and telephoto lens. Its 3.7" Maksutov Cassegrain reflector optical design challenges costly apochromatic refractors for excellent planetary images and outperforms them in color fidelity. And because the optical path is "folded" by mirrors, the telescope is less than one-third the length and less than half the price of those long-tubed refractors -- all with no sacrifice in quality.

Our attractively priced ASTELE™ 95 OTA 48x standard package includes a 90° "star diagonal," 25mm Plossl eyepiece, and free dew-cap/lenshade. The 90° star diagonal improves viewing comfort when this LOMO telescope focuses on high-altitude celestial bodies.

Hundreds of 1 1/4" O.D. eyepieces are available. Our own excellent Plossls make great accessories. The 10mm increases magnification to 120x, the 15mm to 80x and the 40mm increases the field of view while it lowers magnification to 30x. 

Add a 45° image erector to convert the ASTELE™ 95 into a powerful terrestrial spotting scope. 

Whether you are checking the field marks on a Red-eyed Vireo or peering at the eye of a humpback whale, the ASTELE™ 95 OTA will provide you with superb detail at the 48x magnification - more than enough for most applications - but the design delivers top performance even at 120x!
