The Model 1056 is a digital bench top conductivity meter with a full scale from 1.999 micro Siemens (µS) to 199.9 milli Siemens (mS). It operates on four frequencies for increased accuracy. The display is a bright red 31/2 digit, 10.92mm (0.43") high LED with floating decimal.

The meter includes an analog recorder output for charting measurements. Calibration is easy with front panel “calibrate” control. A function switch on the rear panel selects Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) on or off with reference to 25°C, and the self-test mode makes it easy to check calibration. Meter features a built-in tilt stand/handle and cell holder. A power entry module allows for easy change from 115 to 230V operation.

The gold and platinum plate dip conductivity cells, and gold and platinum plate multipurpose cells have an epoxy body cell with one meter cable and 5 pin DIN connector. The micro-flow conductivity cell has an aluminum body and includes one meter cable and 5 pin DIN connector. The platinizing station requires the ASTM D1125 platinizing solution (sold separately). The cell connector with 6K thermistor includes a cell connector (5 pin) with one meter cable and thermistor to aid in the fabrication of a custom cell.
